RACE DECLARED VOID *T]iere was a reniarkablc happening in a hurdle race at Shirley (England) on September 9. Six horses ran m the iJovIceA* All-Aged Hurdle Race, and five
took .he wrong course. The rider of the sixth horse, which had gone the correct course, protested, but he had taken things so easily when he saw the others going the wrong way that when he reached the winning post the judge had left the box. Tire race, which was worth £6B for first, was declared void.
