RATES AT SYDNEY AUCTION. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 9.55 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 29. Catalogues totalling 12,577 bales were offered at the Sydney wool sales to-day, when 11,407 bales were sold at auction and 595 privately. The market was very firm at the previous day’s rates for all descriptions, with a wider demand for better sorts. Greasy Merino made to Z2jd. .
