WRESTLING AT NEW PLYMOUTH. The New Plymouth Wrestling Association is fortunate in be : ng able to announce a match between Cistoldi and Johnny Woods on Saturday. Cistoldi has gained great, popularity since nis debut in New Zealand and has proven himself a very aggressive matman. Cistoldi has met the cream of the overseas wrestlers and has always given a good account of himself. Johnny Woods has beaten the best of Australia’s giants including Lurich, syid no doubt the fans who listen in to the matches at Sydney will acknowledge that Woods always gives a very colourful display. Woods meets McCready at Wellington to-night and this introductory match is a significant proof of his prowess in the ring. The professional bout will be preceded bv amateur evenrs and some interesting contests can be expected. The box plan will be opened as usual at Chum Roberts on Tuesday morning and the charges will be as usual.
