PREPARING FOR HER FIFTH VISIT TO THE ANTARCTIC.—The Royal research ship William Scoresby in St. Katherine Dock, London, on October 1, when she was being prepared for her fifth commission in the Antarctic. She left London later in the month for the Southern Seas. The special work of her scientific staff is to make experiments in marking whales to obtain information as to their migration.
