LABOUR PARTY CAMPAIGN

MEETINGS OF SUPPORTERS HELD. The Labour Party candidate for the New Plymouth seat, the Rev. F. L. Frost, who arrived from Napier yesterday, met friends and supporters at meetings at Fitzroy and Moturoa last, night. Mr. Frost outlined campaign organisation plans and committees were set up in both suburbs. At Fitzroy Mr. W. Nicoll was elected chairman, Mr. V. George vice-chairman, and Mr. P. Draper honorary secretary. An executive committee was appointed comprising Messrs. George, Draper and R. Fulton. At Moturoa Mr. J. Simpson was appointed chairman and Mr. P. Collins was appointed secretary.
