PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT.

The Court of Appeal delivered its decision upon proceedings taken by the New Zealand Law Society against Arthur Everard Seaton, Taumarunui barrister and solicitor, heard yesterday. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, delivering judgment, said that the evidence plainly showed that Seaton had been guilty of grave professional misconduct and had failed to realise his duties as a solicitor. In those circumstances there was no choice but to make an order striking him off the rolls of barristers and solicitors of the Dominion, That order was made with costs against Seaton.
