IMPROVING WEATHER
SOME SHOWERS IN PLACES
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be cool and changeable generally, with showers or misty rain in places, but improving in most districts from to-morrow, states the 4 p.m. forecast. Pressure is still low over and east of New Zealand, but a slight anti-cyclone is advancing slowly across the Tasman. Moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly winds are expected, turning more southerly soon and temporarily increasing in force. Seas will be rather rough to rough on the west coast and in Foveaux Strait, with a considerable southerly swell south of East Cape, and moderate north of East Cape.
