FAIR TO FINE WEATHER
MILDER TEMPERATURES By Telegraph—Press Association. .Wellington, Last Night. The weather for the most part will be fair to fine but a few isolated showers are likely at first on the east coast of the North Island, says the 4 p.m. forecast. Temperatures will be cold with sharp inland frosts to-night but will be miidei to-morrow. An anti-cyclone now completely covers New Zealand while a depression appears to be forming over the north-west Tasman Sea. Winds will be easterly north of Kawhia and East Cape and elsewhere southerly. They will be fresh on parts of the east coast between Cook Strait and East Cape but decreasing and otherwise moderate. Later winds will freshen in the far north. Seas in New Zealand waters will be rough on parts of the east coast between Cape Campbell and East Cape but moderating. Elsewhere they will be smooth to moderate.
