LEGISLATION THIS SESSION. MEASURE BEING PREPARED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 12. Mr. E. T. Tirikatene asked the Minister of Native Affairs in the House of Representatives to-day whether the Government intended to bring down legislation in the present session whereby a proper scheme for housing would be provided for the Maori people. The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes said last session he promised legislation would be brought down this session. Legislation was at present in course of preparation and would be introduced as soon as it was ready.
