DO YOU WANT PROOF?—WeII, Read This. G. TH-sq,, Pai*k Rond, Carterton, Morton Road, Carterton. July 30, 1934. Dear Sir, Please reserve for me and notify when available, 500 of your September day-old chicks. I wish to express my full satisfaction with those previously supplied. Last year’s day-olds are, of course, in full lay, and will, I believe, exceed the average of the previous year’s pullets, of which it gives me great pleasure to state the following—Of the 200 chicks supplied 103 were pullets (I lost six by carelessness); of the remaining 97 an accurate record was kept. Without culling they laid 22,509 eggs during the twelve months, an average of 232 per bird. Each bird showed a profit of.ll/2J over food costs during that period. Your day-olds have my recommendation anywhere, and you are at liberty to make whatever use you wish of this unsolicited testimonial. —Yours faithfully, ... W. F. CODDE. W.L. Day-old Chicks £3/10/- per 100. Day-old Ducklings, £4 per 100. Hatching Eggs, 25/- per 100. Book Orders now for Chicks, Eggs, Pullets, Ducklings. 8-weeks-old Pullets, 4/- each. Freight Extra.
