KAPUNI DISTRICT NEWS

PERSONAL AND GENERAL ITEMS. A committee has been formed in connection with the Kapuni candidate, Baby Gibson, in the forthcoming Plunket Carnival. A euchre party was held on Monday evening. There was not a- large crowd, but a satisfactory sum was realised. 1 Miss I. Burdes has returned after an extended holiday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Candys, who have been staying with Mr. and Mrs. C. Paterson, have returned to their home at Palmerston North. Mr. R. Dents Horgan has returned to Kapuni after a business trip to the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. Lind, Huiroa, who spent a week in the district, with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. Lind, have returned to their home. Mr. and Mrs. T. Guy have taken up their residence in the district.
