GUNFIGHT IN CHAMBER MEXICAN PARLIAMENT THREE OTHERS WOUNDED BITTER DISPUTE CLIMAX By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 11.40 p.m. Mexico City, Sept. 12. Senor Manuel Martinez, a member of the party in power, was slain and three others were wounded in a gunfight on the floor of the Mexican Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday night. The battle was the climax to a bitter dispute between majority and minority groups. Senor Martinez represented the State of Jalisco. The other three deputies’ wounds are serious. The minority bloc in Congress opened the pistol fight. The speaker, Senor Tavor, later declared that the incident had been previously arranged.
