MURDER ALLEGATION
MAREO APPEARS IN COURT. REMAND UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Sept. 11. Eric Mareo, aged 41, well known musician, who was arrested on Septeniber 2 charged with the murder of ms wife, Thelma' Clarice Mareo, on April la, made a second appearance in court this morning. Mr. K. C. Aekins, on behalr of Mareo, said he understood teat the Crown would be ready to proceed with the case on'September 30. Senior-Detective Hall asked for a remand to September 30, which Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., granted with the consent of Mareo’s counsel.
