WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND RUN. WAIRANGI AVERAGES 16) KNOTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A record passage from Wellington ; to Auckland was made by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s new motorship Wairangi, which arrived this morning. She travelled the distance of 537 miles from Wellington heads to the Rangitoto beacon in the fast time of 1 day 8| hours at an average speed of 16.65 knots. The Wairangi is one of the fastest ships trading to New Zealand,
