HEALTH-AGRICULTURE SUBJECT. LEAGUE OF NATIONS DISCUSSION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.--Copyright. London, Sept. 10. The Associated Press special Geneva correspondent says that Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian High Commissioner, conferred with Sir Samuel Hoare, British Foreign Secretary, with reference to the Australian plan of bringing the co-ordination of health and agricultural administrations prominently before the Assembly of the League. Sir Samuel has promised full support. The following nations have signed a requisition that the agenda committee place the subject before the Economic Committee: Australia, Britain, Chile, Denmark, France, Poland, Canada, New Zealand, Italy, Argentine, Sweden and Austria. Thus, with the exception of Russia, the interest is ensured to most of the leading agricultural and consuming countries. The special correspondent of the Associated Press'at Geneva says that Sir James Parr, High Commissioner for New Zealand, will represent New Zealand on all five committees of the Assembly, with Mr. R. M. Campbell, economic adviser to the New Zealand Government, and Mr. C. A. Knowles as substitute delegates. Mr. de Valera, President of the Irish Free State, has been elected president of the Assembly’s political committee.
