PLUNKET SOCIETY MEETS.

ACTIVITIES AT INGLEWOOD. The Inglewood branch of the Plunket Society was held on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Wanklyn presided, others present being Mesdames Cameron, Wearne, Newland, Moir, Braybrook, McAllister, England, Gibbons, Atkinson, Court, Baker, Mantey, George, Guilford, Smith, Crossman and Winter (secretary). The secretary was instructed to write Mrs. R. Brown, whose resignation was received, thanking her for her services. The nurse reported as follows:—Babies on book 97, four being new. Nine visits were paid to homes. Fifty adults visited the office with 72 babies. Forty-eight older children were under supervision. Members of the society entertained members of the rest room committee with whom was discussed a plan for combined rest and Plunke. rooms. Mrs. J. Gibbs gave details of the plans in hand for the proposed new building. The women of the Plunket Society favoured the proposal subject to the consent of the advisory board.
