z WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS. STRATFORD QUALIFYING ROUNDS. Tire qualifying rounds for the senior championship among the women members of the Stratford club were completed yesterday. The following qualified: Miss V. Sangster, Miss M. Sangster, Mrs. C. Williams, Mrs. R. R. Knewstubb, Mrs. D. Seyb, Miss Elsie Anderson, Miss M. Whittle, Mrs. J. Boon, Mrs. Ryan, Miss F. Walker, Mrs. R. Fryday, Mrs. L. Pope. The results of the junior qualifying round will not be completed until Monday. The winner of the senior medal for August was Miss V. Sangster, who returned a card of 80—8 —72. Other good scores were. Miss M. Sangster 90—13—77 and Mrs. Knewstubb 92—14—78. The August junior . medal round was won by Mrs. Hill, 97—23—74, Mrs. Liddell, 104— 29—75, was next.
