The Times’ city editor says that the Canadian authorities have certainly taken into account conditions throughout the world. Australia has now comparatively little remaining from the last crop, and prospects for the new crop are comparable with the last. The large stocks of the world on a broad survey remain in Canada, to which importing countries are likely to look during the present cereal year for rather more than half of their supplies.
