NEW AIRCRAFT FIRM
ESTABLISHMENT IN AUSTRALIA.
POWERFUL COMPANY FORMED.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 12.30 a.m. Sydney, Sept. 10. A powerful company is being formed at Sydney with a capital of £1,000,000 to develop the aircraft manufacturing industry and new air services linking all Australian capitals and New Zealand. The new company will be known as Airlines of Australia Ltd. The director will be Lord Sempill.
It will probably compete for the Tasman air service and has also acquired manufacturing rights of the Sikorsky flying boats.
