TOURIST TROPHY RACE

RESULTS OF BELFAST CONTEST. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 7. The R.A.C. Tourist Trophy race over Ards circuit at Belfast was won by F. W. Dixon driving a Riley car, his average speed being 76.90 miles an hour. E. R. Hall was second in a Bentley with 80.36 miles an hour, and Earl Howe in a Bugatti was third. The winner received a handicap allowance of a lap and 8m 235. There were 35 ‘starters. Fourteen cars retired from the race.
