Bradford topmakers Adjusted quotations more in line with Sydney prices, but users are not following the rise. Following are to-day’s prices and those of the past four weeks:—
SHEEPSKINS DEARER. GOOD SALES AT LONDON. London, Sept 5. At the sheepskin sales to-day 3220 bales were offered, including 526 from Australia and 1025 from New Zealand. There was a- good attendance representative of the 'home trade, the Continent and America. Under brisk competition practically all of the offering was cleared. Compared with July 4 all classes were dearer.- - Australian Merino fine combing and clothing were slightly dearer. New Zealand halfbred was 10 per cent, dearer, crossbred fine 10 per cent., medium 15 per cent., low 10 per cent., and lambs "7'i per cent.
