BRITISH MACHINES SELECTEDOIL IN DUTCH NEW GUINEA. (British Official Wireless-) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Sept. 4. Three small twin-engined British aeroplanes have been selected for an aerial survey of oil-bearing formations over 40,000 square miles in Dutch New Guinea. They will make a delivery flight to Java by way of Cairo, Bagdad, Karachi and Singapore. They arc de ITavilland Dragon Rapides adapted for vertical photography.
