Recently appointed New Zealand trade and tourist commissioner, Mr. Taylor, who arrived by the Wanganella to take up his duties in the Commonwealth, issued a statement in the course of which he details special arrangements for encouraging tourists to visit New Zealand during the approaching summer. Mr. Taylor adds: “Not only is the Dominion closely linked with the Commonwealth by the many ties of Empire and social sentiment, but during recent years there have been many occasions when a crisis or misfortune left New Zealand without an;- doubt as to the real sentiments of the frlk on this side of the Tasman.”
