WELLINGTON SUNSHINE RECORD. MORE LIKE SPRING THAN WINTER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Last month was the sunniest August that Wellington has experienced since sunshine records were commenced in 1907. The total bright sunshine recorded was 203.9 hours, as against the average for August of 139.8 hours. The previous most sunny August was in 1923, when 180.7 hours was recorded. On the whole the month was more like spring than winter.
