THOUSANDS PASS QUEEN’S BIER. SOME WAIT THROUGH NIGHT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Brussels, Sept. 1. Despite drenching rain vast queues assembled yesterday to file past Queen Astrid’s bier. The long procession past the catafalque continued to-day, some people waiting all night for the gates to open. Thousands are pouring in from the provinces. Queen Astrid’s parents and brother have arrived from Sweden. The QueenMother, who since the death of King Albert has effaced herself, has taken over the role of acting-Queen and has assumed charge of the three motherless children.
