Princess Doreen’s indifferent display in the Campbelltown Handicap is reported to be due to breaking a blood vessel. ' < Tauramai pulled up very lame after the Warwick Stakes and will be sent home if the lameness, which is near the foreleg, does not jield k treatment. Closing Time has lost all former dash. The trainer, Jamieson, is mystified over the cause. Another in Jamieson’s stable, Yerrapie, has developed leg trouble. ;
