Father Aubin is to be consecrated here a bishop on September 20 by Archbishop ~ O’Shea, after which he will spend a few weeks in New Zealand. He had been 27 years in the Solomons, and has beep to France only once In that time. Father Coicaud, who is also a French- . ? man, has been 24 years in the Solomons and has not paid a visit to France at all. Father Aubin said there was much to do and few to do it in the mission field in the South Solomons. There were 16 pj priestsj four lay brothers and 20 missionary sisters of the Society of Mary.
