BUTTER REACHES 96s
PRODUCE OF NEW ZEALAND. FIRMNESS OF LONDON MARKET. New Zealand butter on the London market has reached a price-level hitherto unequalled this year. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Ltd., Stratford, reports that cabled advice from their London office quotes butter at 95s to 96s and states that the market is firm. White cheese is quoted at 50s and coloured at 495. The market is quietly steady.
