TARANAKI BASKETBALL TEAM. DOMINION TOURNAMENT GAMES. (By Telegraph—Special to Daily News.) Wellington, Last Night. The Taranaki basketball team had a strenuous day at the Nev/ Zealand tournament to-day, playing three games. Despite excellent' play, Taranaki was not quite strong enough for South Canterbury in an even game. Taranaki narrowly defeated Wairarapa in the most thrilling and best match of the day.
