B MATCH POSSIBLE
TARANAKI VERSUS KING COUNTRY. RUGBY FOOTBALL PROPOSALS. A further match for the Taranaki B Rugby representative team is in view. It is understood tha the Taranaki Rugby Union has received an invitation from the King Country Union. Members of the management committee are being circularised on the matter. The invitation suggests that the match should be played at Taumarunui on September .7, the week after the A v. B Taranaki trial game at Stratford, and the same day as Taranaki plays Hawke's Bay at New Plymouth. A further match for the B team has been arranged against South Auckland at Eltham on September 14.
The Taranaki third grade championship final between Tukapa and Stratford has been set down for decision at Stratford next Saturday. The match will be played at 2.45 and the annual game, between Stratford High School and Rongotai College will be played as a curtain-raiser.
