MANGAMAHOE-KENT ROAD
GOOD ATTENDANCE AT SOCIAL. There was a fair attendance at the flag five hundred evening in the Mangamahoe hall on Friday night, visitors came from New Plymouth, Albert Road and Egmont Village. The prize-winners . were Mr. and Mrs. G. Yates and Mr. and Mrs. H. Smith. The travelling prize was won by Mr. J. Rowlands (New Plymouth) and the consolation prizes were won by Mr. H. Rowlands, G. Bowen, D, and D. Huggett. After cards a dance was held. Monte Carlo prizes were won by Mr. H. Patterson and Mrs. Ekdahl, Loris Fabish and Irene Mace. Music was supplied by Miss K. Wasley and Mr. Huggett was master of ceremonies.' Mr. H. Paterson, Tarata, is the guest of Mrs. A. Huggett. In a cribbage competition in the Mangamahoe hall on Saturday night between Korito and Mangamahoe, the visitors were beaten by 34 games to 22. After cards supper was supplied;
