COMPLIMENTARY social
HELPERS AT MILITARY BALL. The officers of the Taranaki Regiment tendered a complimentary social at New Plymouth last night to the women who had assisted in the arranging of the military ball and in other ways. Bridge and dancing occupied the evening, and Lieutenant-Colonel F. S. Vamham, officer in command, thanked the guests of the -evening for their help. The arrangements were in the hands of the qfficers’ mess' committee.
