ASSAULT ON WOMAN
ATTEMPTED MURDER ALLEGED. YOUTH ARRESTED AT DUNEDIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A youth aged 16 was arrested in the country this afternoon in connection with an assault on Mrs. Archibald Henderson at Tapui, North Otago, on August 11. He will appear before justices of the peace , at Oamaru to-morrow on a charge of attempted murder. Mrs. Henderson was found with knife wounds on the throat and a hand when the police called at her house on the morning of Sunday, August 11. The woman alleged that an intruder entered her bedroom about 1 a.m. and inflicted the injuries, which were not serious. Mr. Henderson was visiting Christchurch at the time. ‘
