Christchurch: —Sales on exchange: Commercial Bank of Australia, 17s 3d; Reserve Bank, £6 10s; Goldsbrough Mort, 33s (two lots); Mortgage Corporation (5s paid), 6s 3d (two lots); New Zealand Refrigerating (£1 paid), 20s 9d; Mahakipawa, 4Jd (three lots); Mount Morgan, 41s 3d. Sales reported: Mahakipawa, 4Jd; D. G. J. Coles (late sale 16th), 68s 9d; British Tobacco, 40s 6d (two lots); New Zealand Refrigerating (£1 paid), 20s 8d; National Mortgage A, 54s 6d. GOLD RETURNS. The Mossy Creek dredge return for last week was 430 z lOdwt for 143 hours and 11,354 yards, reports the Press Association.
