Aa enjoyable evening in aid of pie fancy work stall for the forthcoming spring flower show was organised by the “Giris’ Club” on Thursday. The evening was spent With games' and competitions the winner of’ the competition being Miss R. Elliot.-. Supper was served by the' club members. .... Mrs. V Carr returned during the week from a visit to-Auckland.
