OLD TARANAKI RESIDENT
DEATH OF MRS SAMUEL DEATH. The death occurred at tin* Hamilton hospital on July 31 of Mrs. Samuel Death, Te Aroha, after a very brief illness. Mrs. Death was well known in Taranaki, having lived at Eltham, Ngaere and Kaimata for many years. She later spent several years at Devonport, Auckland, but had lived the past eight years at Te Aroha. Mis. Death made many friends whenever she went by her unselfish interest in others. Mrs. Death is survived by her husband, Mr. Samuel Death (Te Aroha), four daughters, Mrs. F. L. Cumberland (Te Kuiti), Mrs. G. C. Knox (New Plymouth), Mrs. J. 0. Morton (Egmont Village) and Mrs. A. V. Patterson (Hunua, Auckland), and one son, Mr. A. C'. Death (Te Aroha).
