WAGES AGREEMENT REACHED.

SLIGHT INCREASE IN RATES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A complete agreement was reached by the Conciliation Council to-day at the adjourned hearing of an application for a Dominion award in the furniture trade. The applicant was the New Zealand Federated Furniture Trade Industrial Association of Workers. Wages rates have been slightly increased, though other conditions ■ remain practically as in the previous award. The Arbitration Court will be asked during the present session to embody the agreement in an award operating for the twelve months from August 15.
