A party of 20 American school teachers, men and women, arrived by- the Wanganella after a fortnight in Australia and visits to some of the South Sea islands. The leader is Mr. W. Worwood, who is accompanied by his wife. They all left by bus for Napier, whence they proceed to Wairakei, Rotorua, Wai—tomo, Chateau Tongariro and Wanganui. They will return to Wellington on Tuesday to join the Makura. The trip is facilitated by the interchange system of passenger tickets on shipping lines in the Pacific,
