Background of Music.

The first film in which Gertrude Lawrence and Douglas Fairbanks jnr, are costarred has now been titled “Mimi” and has received its premiere presentation at London. It is noteworthy for the beautiful background of music which runs throughout the entire picture, BJI.P. having obtained the right to use much of Puccini’s original music from the opera “La Boheme.” “Mimi” tells the tragic story of the love of Rodolph, played by Douglas Fairbanks, a struggling young •writer who lives in the Latin quarter of Paris, for Mimi, played by Gertrude Lawrence.
