" WIN FOR PATEA WOMEN. MATCH WITH TE NGUTU.. Patea was successful in a golf match with Te Ngutu at Patea yesterday, Patea winning by six games to two. Details, Patea names first, are:— ' Miss Bourke and Mrs. Glenny lost to Miss O’Dowd and Mrs. Cottrell. Mrs. Harris and Miss Power beat Mrs. Robertson and Miss M. O’Dowd. Mrs. Wither and Miss Honeyfield lost to Mrs. Luxton and Miss Sutherland. Miss Hemingway and Miss Gibbings beat Miss Hutchinson and Miss Joyce. Miss Petersen and Miis Wybourne beat Mrs. Woods and Miss. K. O’Sullivan. Miss O’Sullivan and Mrs. Honeyfield beat Miss I. O'Sullivan and Mrs. Penny. Miss B. A bogey match with bisques jplayed by the New Plymouth Ladies’ Gblf Club yesterday resulted as follows:— Senior. Mrs. Duff Taylor 3 up. Miss Home 1 up. Miss Rundle 1 up; Junior. Miss McGuire 3 up. Mrs. Rowe 3 up. Mrs. J. M. Clarke all square. Mrs. Beresford all square. Mrs. Knight 1 down. Mrs. Warnock 1 down. Mrs. Lightband 1 down. On the recount Miss McGuire won the medal match. The non-handicap medal round was won by Mrs. Costello, 123 gross. Mrs. Flyger, 6 up, did the best round of the day, but did not mark her card correctly. MANGATOKI/ WOMEN’S PLAY. MISS E. TERRY’S COMPETITION. Miss E. Terry, with a score of 119, was the winner of a non-handicap golf competition at Mangatoki. MATCHES AT ELTHAM. < THE H. B. GIBSON TROPHY. Two matches for Mr. H. B.
