TWO SCHOLARSHIPS GRANTED.

Degrees were conferred as follows at a meeting of the executive committee of the Senate of the’University of New Zealand to-day. Master of science (Canterbury College), William Ridland. Bachelor of dental surgery (University cf Otago), Matthew Richard Cable, James Ferris Fuller. Mr. Cable has been awarded a scholarship in dentistry at the University of Chicago. A travelling scholarship in agriculture has been awarded C. Sanderson (Auckland University College).
