ECLIPSE STAKES AT SANDOWN. LAST RACE BEFORE RETIREMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, July 19. The Eclipse Stakes run at Sandown Park, over one mile two furlongs, resulted:— WINDSOR LAD 1 THF.FT 2 FAIR TRIAL 3 Five started. Won by three-quarters of a length, the same distance between second and third. Windsor Lad’s victory was obtained in the final race before he goes to the stud, for which he is booked up for many years at a fee of £4OO. He won £38,000 in stake money, and his value is now estimated at £BO,OOO. AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY LEADS. WINNING TOTALS IN FRANCE. Paris, July 19. Togo Johnstone, the Australian jockey, heads the winning jockeys witht 49 wins out of 251 mounts. Sibbntt is third with 22 out of 134.
