In the final of the associates State golf championship to-day Miss Joan Hammond defeated Mrs. Clive Robinson at the 37th hole after a magnificent struggle. Mrs. Robinson was one up at the end of the morning round and five up at the 23rd. Miss Hammond, however, staged a remarkable recovery to win at the 37th, retaining her title.' MRS. The Victorian women’s golf championship was won by Mrs. Sloan Morpeth, who defeated Mrs. Enos Shaw 10 up and 9 to-day. The match was played in rain. It was Mrs. Sloan Morpeth’s fourth championship win. She was in fine form.
