CHRISTCHURCH AGREEMENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the Christchurch Press Co. Ltd. was held to-day, Mr. George Gould, chairman of directors, presiding. The following resolutions were carried unanimously:— (1) That the capital of the company be increased to £200,000 by the creation of 20,000 shares of I £s each. . • , (2) That this meeting of shareholders confirms the agreements entered into on May 27, 1935, between the Christchurch Press Co. .Ltd. and Suri Newspapers Ltd., « between the Christchurch Press Co. Ltd. and New Zealand Newspapers Ltd. and the agreement made between New Zealand Newspapers Ltd. and Sun News- . papers Ltd. referred to in the agreement made between the Christchurch Press Co. Ltd. and New Zealand Newspapers Ltd., and authorises the directors to carry out all necessary SPrrangcments for giving effect to these agreements.
