SERVICES AT RATAPIKO

GENERAL NEWS OF DISTRICT. Captain Kee, of the Church Army mission, has been visting Ratapiko' as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dust and Mr. and' Mrs. Willans. On Saturday, night a mis-. sion service was held in toe hall, when' Captain Kee spoke of toe work of. toe Church Army. The Sunday service at Ratapiko was also taken by Captain Kee, who was accompanied by the vicar of the parish, the Rev. Boyd Bell. Mr. Philip Skoglund, Stratford, addressed a well attended meeting in toe Ratapiko hall on Friday night. Mr. J. Moorby, l Okato, was a visitor to Ratapiko as the guest of Mr. and- Mrs. E, Grigg. Mr. and Mrs. W. Ridge, Norsewood, motored to Ratapiko on Sunday and are the guests of Mr. and Mrs*. A. Gannaway. . ' Mr. and Mrs. G. Downs have been visting Mr. and Mrsl N. Downs,. Ratapiko. Mr. J. .Moratti and Mr. Ray Grigg have returned from Whangamomona, where they were the guests of Mr. McCutchen cn a pig shooting expedition. Mrs. G. Stevens, Makara Road, is spending a holiday with relatives at Wellington. ' . ‘ , Miss J. Feaver, New Plymouth, was toe guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wells at the week-end. ( • < Miss Jean Dravitzki has returned from a holiday with relatives at Egmont Village. Mrs. J. Moratti has returned from a holiday with her parents, Mr. and'Mrs. J. Klenner, Kaimato. Mrs. O’Donnell, Tongaporutu, is visiting her sister, Mys. Jack Martin. Miss Dot Hill returned from Hawera on Saturday.
