COLLAPSE ON MONO WAI VISIT TO A LONG LOST BROTHER. THEIR REUNION AFTER 35 YEARS. DEATH OCCURS BEFORE MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Sydney, June 3. Overcome with, joy at the prospect or a reunion .with her brother after 35 years, Mrs. Mary Gregory, the elderly wife of Mr. Alfred Gregory, of Hillsboro, Auckland, collapsed and died while the Monowai was coming to her berth at Sydney this afternoon. . Her brother, Mr. W. Queripel, of Rozelle, heard the tragic news immediately he boarded the Monowai., He was extremely distressed. . He explained that he recently discovered where . his sister was living by means of a vaguely addressed card sent by the jubilee air mail. Upon receiving this his sister decided to come to Australia to visit hiln. Mrs. Gregory, who lived with her husband at Mt. Haskill, last saw her brother 35 years ago when he visited Auckland, says an Auckland message. Mr. Gregory said to-night that although his wife had not seen her brother for such a long time, they had maintained correspondence and she had decided eventually to make the trip to Sydney to see him again.
