THIRD GENERATION

TWEEDMOUTH BARONY EXTINCT

DEATH OF THIRD HOLDER. (Air Mail—Special to News.) London, May 2. Th? Tweedmouth barony is extinct by the death at the age of 61 of its third holder. The late and last Lord Tweedmouth’s mother was Mr. Winston Churchill's aunt, and his father the First Lord of the Admiralty to whom, in prewar days, the Kaiser sent a piquant letter, advising him to leave German naval policy alone, and confine his attention to the Windsor Castle drains. This impetuous epistle got into print, it was alleged throug the cupidity of a beautiful titian-haired American lady, who had an expensive establishment in Mayfair. The. late Lord Tweedmouth was a Life Guardsman with keen sporting interests. At Harrow he won a boxing prize and later the Waterloo Cup with Guilds Brigade, one of the most famous dogs in the annals of coursing.
