The principal features of market prices at New Plymouth during the week were a rise of Id per pound in butter and another fall in the price of Oggs. Yesterday’s quotations were:—Fruit: Apples, Stumers 51b for Is, Delicious 31b for Is, Grannie Smith 31b for Is, Ballarat 41b for Is; oranges, Sunkist 5 for Is, Island 4, 5 and 6 for Is; lemons, Tauranga 8 for Is; • bananas, 2£lb for Is; pears, 4d per lb; Sunkist grape fruit, 6d each; pine- ' apples, 6d and 8d each; tomatoes, 6d lb, hothouse Is lb; . tree tomatoes, 6d lb; chokos, 2d each; marmalade oranges, 6, 8 and 10 for Is.
