MINIATURE SHOOTING
good Scores at new Plymouth. Practice Was continued during the week by members of the miniature branch of the New Plymouth Rifle Club. The high standard of shooting was maintained by the seniors, and improved scores were made by some of the junior members. Possibles were registered by NT. McArtney and S. Pruden. The best scores were:—S. Pruden 70, N. McArtney 70, A. Walsh 69, Miss I. Papps 69, E. Marsh 69, S. Higgs 69, B. Gleeson 68, A. Willcocks 68, C. Henry 67, N. Lightfoot 68, J. Berry 66, J. MacDonell 66, B. Jury 65. Competition shooting will commence on Tuesday night. There will be A and B grade championship aggregates for all the season and three-weekly handicap competitions.’ Teams matches and a ladder. will also be held.
