PRIMARY SCHOOL SOCCER

COMPETITIONS TO-MORROW. Five A grade and seven B grade teams will take'part in competitions to be conducted by the Taranaki Primary Schools Football Association. Meeting at New Plymouth last night, the committee of the association made the following draw for to-morrow’s games:— A grade: Vogeltown v. West End at New Plymouth racecourse, referee Mr. G. F. Roper; Fitzroy v. Central, Mr. R. Clark; Waitara, a bye. B grade: Central v. Moturoa at New Plymouth racecourse, Mr. E. Bensley; Westown v. Fitzroy at Fitzroy, Mr. E. ' Kenny; West End v. Convent at West End, Mr. P. Gardner; Waitara, a bye. It was decided that A grade games should commence at 11 a.m. and B grade at 10 o’clock. The chairman (Mr. G. F. Roper) and Mr. P. Gardner were appointed to draw up the remaining fixtures in the first rounds. The meeting confirmed the action of the. secretary (Mr. J. W. Chapman) in forwarding three balls to Hawera for school teams. It was decided to present each of the schools in the northern competitions with a match ball, the old balls to be used for practices. Messrs. R. Cumming and R. Clark were appointed delegates to the northern subcommittee of the Taranaki Football Association, which will be formed at a meeting at New Plymouth to-morrow night
